The Iowa Mennonite School volleyball team opens the 2016 season tonight when they travel to Fairfield for a quadrangular tournament.

In attendance with IMS will be the host Trojans, Albia, and Eddyville-Blakesburg. Last season Iowa Mennonite finished 13-19. IMS graduated their top two offensive threats in Natalie Graber and Jess Bender who combined for 326 kills a season ago. Graber also led the team in digs with 182. IMS does return lone senior Alijah Beatty who was fifth in the Southeast Iowa Superconference last year with 404 assists and second on the team with 181 digs.
