The newest season of Washington Demon football will begin later this month with several juniors set to be featured at the wide receiver position. Jaivonn Willis, the team’s top receiver last year, is back to lead a corps of players entering their third season of varsity football. Willis made a team-high 54 receptions for 796 yards and 10 touchdowns.

With Ethan Hansen and Dakota Suchan off to college, Washington is looking to fill multiple receiver slots ahead of their August 26th season opener at Albia. Players vying for spots on the first team offense includes juniors Cale Hobscheidt, Thomas Zimmer, Sawyer Whisler, Jacob Hall and Dalton Myers.

Senior Bryce Sinn will also be featured in the passing game at the tight end position. Sinn made nine catches for 116 yards during his junior campaign.
