With Labor Day a week away, things are shaping up for a busy weekend at Lake Darling State Park. Park Ranger Zach Haworth said all of the electric and full hook-up campsites have been booked for the weekend since they started taking reservations nearly three months ago, and both the old and new cabins are full as well. He added, as long as the weather cooperates, they should have a very successful weekend. Labor Day also marks the last weekend the park will be doing boat rentals for the season, as Haworth said they will focus on finishing things up in the campground and working on projects they’d like to get done before the cooler weather comes in.
