The Washington Steele Family Aquatic Center is going to the dogs this weekend to fundraise for PAWS and More. The 10th annual dog paddle will be held at the pool in Washington Sunday. In previous years the funds raised went to the Sunset Dog Park, but this year they’ll go to the animal shelter. The non-profit shelter takes in 750 to 800 animals each year. For $5 your pup can jump in the pool and there will be microchipping on site for $20. For safety reasons the event is only open to spayed and neutered dogs, and a proof of rabies vaccination is required. The dog paddle runs from 1 to 4 p.m.
