Forecasts show over two inches of rain falling in Washington Wednesday and Saturday this week, according to AccuWeather. So far this month, according to the National Weather Service, Washington has recorded 4.81 inches of precipitation, above the normal 3.2 inches of rain. State climatologist Harry Hillaker shares it looks like a wet start to the school year with quite a bit of rain tonight into Wednesday.
