What do the books Two Boys Kissing, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, I Am Jazz and The Holy Bible have in common? They’re all on the top 10 most challenged books of 2015 list compiled by the American Library Association. This week is Banned Books Week and Washington Public Library director Debbie Stanton shares the week is observed to celebrate public libraries as places where we can read anything we want to read.

One of the most banned book series in history is the Harry Potter series, so they’re having a read out of the newest Harry Potter book – Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. The read out will begin at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday and people are welcome to come read or just listen.
