The Clear Creek Amana football team continued their perfect run Friday night, shutting out the Center Point Urbana Stormin’ Pointers by a 26-0 score.

The Clippers made sure to turn their homecoming game into a party, jumping on CPU early with a touchdown from Cade Gallagher and a pair of field goals from Tyreke Williams to push the Clipper lead to 12-0 at the break. In the second half CCA got one touchdown a piece from Matt Brimeyer and Jared Eckrich to put the game out of reach. Brimeyer led the Clipper offense with 125 yards on 18 carries with a touchdown, Eckrich finished with 115 yards on 15 carries and a score. The win gives CCA a 5-0 start to the season, matching the 1999 season for their best start in school history. The Clippers will next be in action Friday when they hit the road to take on No. 4 West Delaware.
