Mid-Prairie alumni Jared Draper is enjoying success at the collegiate level of cross country at Indian Hills Community College.

Draper, a sophomore, captured the championship at the Yellowjacket Open hosted by Graceland University last week. Draper’s winning time was 21:18. Indian Hills won the team event with a score of 18 points, besting second place Southwestern Community College who finished with 55. Other finishers for Indian Hills included Garrett Hinson second, Jono Hooper fourth, Zach Hougland fifth, Columbus alum Josh Keller seventh in 21:47 and Mid-Prairie alum Luke Sigler eighth in 22:14.
