The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk football team is set for Homecoming tonight when they host the Camanche Indians at Dwight G. Sattler Field in Wellman.

Mid-Prairie enters tonight 1-3 overall and 0-2 in district play following a 49-31 loss last week at Mount Vernon. On the season the Hawks are led through the air by Karson Gingerich who is 35 of 68 for 450 yards five touchdowns and three interceptions. His favorite target is Levi Duwa with 13 catches for 128 yards and a pair of scores. On the ground, Ricky Vargas has 426 yards and four touchdowns on 64 attempts.

Camanche enters tonight with an overall record of 0-4, the Indians are 0-2 in district play. Last week they were beaten by Williamsburg 55-7. The Indians have been outscored this year 219-13 through their first month of play. Camanche is led on the season by quarterback Baylor Crigger who is 34 for 75 for 357 yards two touchdowns and seven interceptions. He is also the team’s leading rusher with 102 yards on 51 carries. Crigger’s favorite target through the air is Hampton Grim with 10 catches for 145 yards.
