The Iowa Mennonite School boys and girls cross country teams ran Tuesday at the English Valleys Invitational at Knoll Ridge Golf Course in North English.

The IMS boys finished seventh out of 11 teams with their score of 187 points. Tipton took the championship with 48 points. Levi Geyer posted the top individual finish for IMS, taking sixth in 18:28.

Other finishers for IMS included Cameron Roser-Peet in 37th, Jacob Boller 51st, Anthony Villatoro 52nd, Seth Danga 60th, Micah Miller 66th, Gerardo Mendoza 76th.

On the girls side Iowa Mennonite placed seventh out of nine schools with their overall score of 166. Tipton took the championship with a score of 34. Top finisher for IMS was Calli Shaw in 13th with a time of 24:03. Other finishers for IMS included Mackenzie Gutierrez in 38th, Sarena Gerber 50th, Rachel Geyer 59th, Greta Schrag 60th, and Ainsley Shaw 71st.

IMS will next be in action Tuesday when they travel to Center Point-Urbana
