The Iowa River is flooding in Louisa County. As of 5 a.m. Thursday, according to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Iowa River at Columbus Junction was six feet above flood stage at 25 feet. From Wednesday to Thursday, it rose nearly four feet. Also, at Wapello, the Iowa River is at 25.8 feet, while flood stage there is 20 feet and at Oakville it is at 13.6 feet, above the 10 foot flood stage. No road closures have been reported at this time.
