The Southeast Iowa Superconference volleyball tournament kicks off tonight at several host schools around the area.

Iowa Mennonite School and Winfield-Mt. Union will both travel to Mediapolis to begin tournament play. Joining the Wolves and IMS will be the Central Lee Hawks and the host Bullettes. IMS enters tonight with a 4-10 overall record. They were last in action September 10th at the Wilton tournament where they defeated WMU and lost to Wilton, Mount Pleasant, and Durant. On the season Iowa Mennonite is led by Mia Graber with 51 kills, Alijah Beatty has 139 assists, fourth best in the conference, and Suzanna Yoder has 102 digs.

Winfield-Mt. Union comes into tonight with a 7-11 overall record. They were in action at the Holy Trinity Tournament Monday where they went 2-2, beating Danville and Keokuk while falling to Holy Trinity and Fort Madison. On the year the Wolves are led by Pearl Krieger-Coble with 69 kills, Lauren Jamison leads the Wolves and is fifth in the conference with 134 assists, Sophie Kongable leads the SEISC and the Wolves with 217 digs.

Mediapolis comes into tonight 11-3. In their last match they swept Winfield-Mt. Union last Thursday. Kara Brown leads MEPO with 101 kills, fourth best in the conference. Sarah Vorwerk is best on the team and second in the league with 278 assists. Brianna Eberhardt is the team leader with 78 digs.

Central Lee is 7-9 overall. The Hawks were last in action Monday at the Fort Madison tournament. They fell to New London and Fort Madison but beat Wapello in three sets. Anna Krehbiel leads Central Lee with 71 kills. She also holds the team lead with 118 digs.  Kenzie Krehbiel has the team lead with 126 assists, sixth best in the conference.

The top two teams from each site advance to the finals at Southeast Community College in Burlington Saturday.
