Mid-Prairie High School is gearing up for homecoming this week with several events. Starting today, each day has a different dress-up theme with it, culminating in Black and Gold Day on Friday. According to secretary Karmen Cady, Wednesday is the day everyone looks forward to because of the tailgater. The tailgater runs from 4-7 p.m. and will include boys’ kickball and girls’ powder puff football tournaments. The night will conclude with a pep rally where the dance team and cheerleaders will perform, and the homecoming king and queen will be crowned.

The football game against Camanche kicks off Friday at 7 p.m., and the week concludes with the homecoming dance on Saturday. The homecoming court is Ally Bontrager, Rebecca Frantz, Bailey Hershberger, Lily Schlabaugh, Levi Duwa, Duncan McCain, Jared Miller, and Daniel Riggan. KCII will be broadcasting live from the Wednesday pep rally and coronation.
