The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk volleyball team took third place Saturday at their home Hawk tournament.

The Golden Hawks went 2-2 on the day. Mid-Prairie topped Sigourney in two games 21-12 and 21-15, fell to Washington in two games 19-21 and 11-21, lost to Iowa City Regina 19-25 and 23-25, and beat Sigourney a second time 26-24 and 25-16. The Golden Hawks won pool A which included Washington and Sigourney. Mid-Prairie finished third overall. Benton Community beat Regina in the championship match. Ali Butters led the Golden Hawks on the day with 22 kills and four blocks. Sami Miller had 32 assists and Amanda Miller had 25 digs. With the split, Mid-Prairie is now 6-8 on the season.
