The Sigourney-Keota Savage Cobra football team wrapped up an unbeaten non-district season on Friday, pounding Eddyville-Blakesburg 43-8.

The Cobras wasted no time taking control with Carson Crawford finding the end zone from three years out just three minutes into the game to make it 6-0. SK doubled their lead when Crawford scored again, this time on a 10 yard scamper. Avery Moore hauled in a 51 yard scoring pass to extend the lead, and cashed in on a two point conversion to make it 20-0. The Cobras would score twice more late in the half to take a 32-0 lead into the break. In the second half the SK defense continued to limit the Rockets while the Cobras put two more scores on the board for the win. Sigourney-Keota is now 2-0 on the year and will open up district play next week when they travel to Highland.
