Entering tomorrow’s league tournament, Lone Tree’s Elena Sieverding leads the Southeast Iowa Super Conference North in kills. Sieverding has tallied 138 kills in 17 matches, an average of three per set. She has 12 more than any other player in the SEISC North division.

Sieverding had 62 kills in her last five matches. She recorded a season-high 16 kills in back-to-back victories versus Winfield-Mount Union on September 8 and Central City on September 12.

The Lone Tree volleyball team (7-10 overall) started the season 2-7 overall but has won five of their last eight matches. The Lions are headed to Danville High School tomorrow for pool play competition of the Southeast Iowa Super Conference volleyball tournament. Lone Tree is seeded No. 2 in their four-team group. The No. 6 ranked Holy Trinity Catholic Crusaders (15-0 overall) are the top seed in the pool. The top two teams from each pool will play in the finals of the tournament Saturday at Southeastern Community College in West Burlington.
