The United Presbyterian Home in Washington is set to break ground for their addition next week. Technically, ground is already broken but the ceremony will be held September 14th. DeLong Construction crews took advantage of the nice weather in August to start early. The $6.2 million, over 20,000 square foot expansion will be added to the current Health Center. It will include 17 private rooms, wellness and fitness facilities, including a warm water therapy pool and indoor walking track. The UP Home is a non-profit that was established in 1947. The ground-breaking event will begin at 9:30 a.m. September 14th.
