The new conference slate for the WACO Warriors volleyball team (6-3 overall; 1-1 SEISC South) continiued Tuesday at Bob Hilmer Court. WACO, who transitioned to the Southeast Iowa Super Conference South division this summer from the league’s north division, hosted the Holy Trinity Catholic Crusaders (3-0 overall). The Warriors improved throughout the match, but fell in straight sets (4-25, 17-25, 21-25).

Senior Mayme Hihn led the Warriors in kills with seven and recorded 10 digs. Senior Hallie Kissel facilitated on 12 points, while senior McKenna White dug up a team-best 11 balls. WACO recorded 17 kills, 12 assists, 32 digs, and three aces in the match. The Warriors posted a serve efficiency of 88 percent, sending 36 of 41 serves over the net.

The Warriors return to the court tonight, traveling to New London for a SEISC South match versus the Tigers (4-2 overall).
