During his work week, Superintendent Jeff Dicks splits his time between the Washington and WACO school districts. The new sharing agreement has the administrator spend 1.5 days at WACO and the other 3.5 at Washington each week. He says it’s a win-win situation, and they also share maintenance staff. In March, both school boards approved the sharing arrangement. At that time, Dicks said with the districts working together it is saving money. Dicks has previously served as a shared superintendent, before taking the post at Washington.
