The Washington County Conservation Board has many projects they’re working on at Marr Park, including the creation of a new handicapped camping pad. According to Conservation Director Steve Anderson, they have suggested campsite 15 for the site. It has full electrical capabilities, as well as convenient access to facilities such as the restrooms. The new pad will be ADA compliant, and Anderson said work will begin on the site once the location is approved. He is hopeful the 16×75 foot pad will be complete before fall is over, so people with disabilities can take part in camping at the park.
