The Washington County Conservation Board has their monthly meeting today, and first on the agenda is a discussion about a grant request for the Washington County Riverboat Foundation. Their proposal will center around improvements to the Kewash Nature Trail, specifically the crossing Kiwi Avenue enhancement project. Additionally, they’ll review and set user fees for facility rentals for the 2017 season, with reservations to begin October 1st. Other topics include discussion and potential approval of purchasing food for the October 15th Halloween Hike volunteers, and project updates for Marr Park, Sockum Ridge, and Foster Woods. The meeting is open to the public and begins at 4:30 p.m in the Conservation Education Center at Marr Park.
