Two vehicles were involved in a car wreck on Highway 1 Wednesday morning. According to the Washington County Communications office, at 10:16 a.m. a vehicle was driving erratically on Highway 1, pulled in front of another vehicle and then put on the brakes causing a wreck near the Richmond turnoff. The two drivers were Debora Mask and Andrew Mask, both of Washington. One vehicle came to rest on the roadway, the other in the ditch. The people then got out of the vehicles and were verbally arguing. Debora Mask was cited for unsafe stopping.

Nobody was transported from the scene by ambulance. One vehicle was towed from the scene. Kalona QRS, Kalona Fire and Rescue, Washington County Sheriff’s personnel, and Washington County Ambulance assisted at the scene.
