The Washington County Board of Supervisors and the City of Washington have each approved working with WEMIGA Waste for the Washington County Recycling Center. The county will serve as the landlord of the facility and the company will run the daily operations. Supervisor Jack Seward shared they’re working on a draft contract and the board will need to review the agreement at their next meeting. The current contract for service ends December 1st. The supervisors will hold their next meeting Tuesday at the courthouse at 9:30 a.m.
