The Iowa Mennonite School is hosting their first music concert of the year this Sunday. The concert will feature the freshman/sophomore choir, junior/senior choir, and symphonic band. IMS Music Director Alisa Kandel says they will perform a wide variety of music, including Kenyan songs, spirituals, and hymns. Kandel says she is most excited for the students to be able to showcase their talents for their families and peers, and hopes everyone performs up to their potential. She believes they’re ready and excited for the concert, which is encouraging to her as the director. The fall music concert will be Sunday from 3-4 p.m., and will be followed by a prospective student harvest party.
