In a matchup of KCII area volleyball teams, Iowa Mennonite School will travel to Lone Tree tonight for the first round of class 1A regional action.

IMS comes into the event with an overall record of 10-16. In their last match they swept Pekin 27-25, 26-24 and 25-14. IMS is led on the year by Mia Graber with 108 kills, Alijah Beatty has the team lead and is fourth in the conference with 308 assists. Rachel Miller leads the IMS defense with 263 digs, eighth best in the Southeast Iowa Superconference.

Lone Tree comes into tonight with an overall record of 12-13. Last time out the Lady Lions were swept by Mediapolis, 12-25, 12-25 and 18-25. On the year Lone Tree is led by Elena Sieverding with 203 kills, fifth best in the Southeast Iowa Superconference. Sieverding also leads the team with 265 digs, sixth in the conference. Maddie Forbes is third in conference with 367 assists.

These two teams met on September 29th in Kalona with Lone Tree winning in four sets by scores of 21-25, 26-24, 26-24 and 25-20. Action begins tonight at 7PM at Lone Tree High School
