The Iowa Mennonite School cross country team hosted the IMS Invitational at the Wellman Golf Course on Monday night.

The IMS boys finished 10th place out of the 12 competing teams with their score of 243 points. Mid-Prairie took the team championship with 28 points. Individually Iowa Mennonite was led by Levi Geyer who finished 11th in 18:16. Other finishers for IMS included Cameron Roser-Peet 50th, Seth Danga 60th, Anthony Villatoro 64th, Jacob Boller 66th, Micah Miller 75th and Gerardo Mendoza 76th.

The Iowa Mennonite School girls placed ninth out of nine teams with their score of 241 points. Solon won the team championship with their score of 54 points. Top finisher for the IMS girls was Calli Shaw 28th with a time 23:02. Other finishers included Serena Gerber 55th, Mackenzie Gutierrez 57th, Rachel Geyer 65th, Greta Schrag 70th and Ainsley Shaw 72nd.

Iowa Mennonite will be back in action Thursday when they travel to West Burlington, Notre Dame for the Superconference Championship Meet.
