Like many other city organizations and school districts in Washington County, Mid-Prairie schools are preparing to submit requests to the Washington County Riverboat Foundation for their fall grants. Superintendent Mark Schneider said they will submit three grant requests to the WCRF: the first is for new iPads to replace ones that are out-of-date at the elementary schools; the second is for equipment for the new indoor athletic facility; and the third is for new uniforms for the dance team. The iPads will cost $50,000, and they have requested $40,000 from the WCRF; the equipment will cost $15,000, and their request is $11,500; and the uniforms will cost $3,500, and they’re requesting $3,000.
