Bicyclists are going to be pedaling their way across Iowa in one day and coming through Washington County Saturday. The Ride Across Iowa in a Day, or RAID, begins in Council Bluffs and goes along Highway 92 to Muscatine. Cyclists will officially start the 300-mile trek at 4 a.m. Saturday and it ends at 4 a.m. Sunday at the Mississippi River. Rest stops will be in Griswold, Winterset, Pleasantville, Oskaloosa and Washington. Four cyclists completed the entire ride last year.
