A pair of graduates from Washington county high schools recently finished their women’s collegiate cross country seasons for Indian Hills Community College. The Warriors concluded the year at the National Junior College Athletic Association’s National Championship meet last Monday in El Dorado, KS. IHCC placed 20th out of 37 teams.

Courtnee Hahn, a 2015 graduate of Highland Community Schools, posted the top time for Indian Hills. She had the 84th best finish with a time of 20:09. The national championship marked Hahn’s third race of the season.

Emme Keith, a 2016 Washington alum, was the 200th runner to cross the finish line at the national championship race. She clocked the race in 21:43.

Indian Hills Community College competed in meets in five states this fall including Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Arkansas, and Michigan.
