Funeral service for 97 year old Calvin Leroy Brown of Sigourney will be held at 1:30 p.m.on Sunday, (11/13), at the Lancaster Christian Church. Burial will be at Pennington Cemetery in rural Sigourney.  Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.on Saturday, (11/12) at Powell Funeral Home in Sigourney. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for Lancaster Christian Church or the Sigourney Public Library.  Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Sigourney is caring for Leroy and his family.
