So far this fall 414 turkeys have been harvested in Iowa, according to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources. It is currently the fall turkey gun and bow season. The season lasts until December 2nd. Hunters in Washington County have harvested four turkeys, in the spring they had 74. Appanoose County has had the most reports of turkeys harvested this fall at 16. Jefferson County has had one, Johnson County is at six, Henry County is at three, Iowa County has had five, Keokuk County is at zero and Louisa County has had seven turkeys harvested.
