The WACO Warriors volleyball team (14-15) finished in the middle of the Southeast Iowa Super Conference South standings in their first season. The Warriors’ 5-3 record against division opponents was the fourth best of out of nine teams. The Southeast Iowa Super Conference released the names on this year’s all-conference squad recently and WACO is represented by four seniors.

Highlighting WACO’s selections is Halle Kissel as a first team all-conference setter. Kissell, a three-year starter for head coach Jay Coble, posted a career-high 391 assists. She facilitated on 89 more points than last year. Kissel finished in a tie with Kiana Miller for second on the team with 116 kills.

Mayme Hinh represented WACO on the second team all-conference squad as a hitter. Her 163 kills were 47 more than the rest of the team and were the 10th most in the league. Molly Edgar and McKenna White were named all-conference honorable mention selections.

WACO ended the season with a 14-15 overall record, a five-win improvement from last year. The Warriors will lose Kissell, Hinh, Edgar, and White to graduation.
