Nearly three-quarters of registered voters in Washington County cast ballots in Tuesday’s election. According to Washington County Auditor Dan Widmer, 11,093 people voted out of 15,171 registered voters, that equals a voter turnout of 73.05%. Of those votes, 4,705 were done early either in person at the auditor’s office or by mail. Without dividing the absentee votes into their respective precincts, with 53.13% Riverside precinct had the highest turnout of the 10 precincts in Washington County. Washington’s Ward 3 and Ward 4 were the two lowest with 36.34% and 36.69%, respectively.
