Funeral Services for 94-year-old Laurene Carter of Wellman will be held at 1:30pm Saturday (11/19) at the Asbury United Methodist Church in Wellman. Burial will be in the Yankee Point Cemetery in rural North English. Visitation will be held from 3-6 pm on Friday, (11/18), at the Powell Funeral Home in Wellman. A memorial fund has been established for the Goodwin Senior Center and the Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center. The Powell Funeral Home in Wellman is caring for Laurene and her family.
