A 13-win season resulted in multiple Lone Tree Lion volleyball players being named all-conference performers. The Southeast Iowa Super Conference North released their all-conference teams this week, and the league’s coaches recognized five Lone Tree players for their efforts.

Elena Sieverding concluded her high school volleyball career as one of six hitters on the first team all-conference squad. She ranked third in the conference with 237 kills, over 100 more than the rest of the team. Sieverding also tallied 305 digs, one less than Liz Dodson for most on the squad.

Dodson was named as a second-team all-conference utility player. She topped Lone Tree with 36 aces, and her 135 kills were the second most. She was also the Lions’ best defensive players with 306 digs. Joining Dodson on the all-conference second team is Maddie Forbes as a setter. She facilitated on 420 points, the third most in the SEISC North.

Zoie Simonsen and Riley Warson were named all-conference honorable mention selections. The Lions concluded their season with a 13-14 overall record, a three-win regression from last season. Lone Tree will lose Sieverding, Dodson, Forbes, and Kaycee Kane to graduation.
