The WACO Warriors’ first season in 8-man football resulted in a three-win campaign. Five Warriors were rewarded for their efforts this fall by being named to the all-district team.

Colton Horak represents WACO on the first team all-district offense. Horak tallied 1,807 yards of total offense and 25 touchdowns. He also posted two special teams touchdowns and returned an interception for a score. Horak set a new school record with 202 points scored, including 38 points as the team’s place kicker.

Cody Crawford and Hunter Leichty are second team all-district performers. The pair helped the Warriors rank third in the district with 2,138 rushing yards and 33 touchdowns. Gabe Black and Jackson Roth are WACO’s honorable mention selections.

The WACO football season concluded with a record of 3-6 overall. The Warriors will graduate seven seniors.
