Today is Thanksgiving Day and in observance of the holiday many offices and businesses are closed today and tomorrow. Banks are closed today and the United States Postal Service is not delivering mail. Also, Washington County offices and Washington City Hall are closed today and tomorrow, as well as the Washington Public Library. The Washington County Mini Bus is not operating today and will have limited services Friday.

While today and Friday may be quiet in downtown Washington, Saturday will be busy with Main Street Washington’s Holiday Blitz which includes Breakfast with Santa, Small Business Saturday, carolers, a live radio play in the windows of the library, Santa’s House opening and the annual lighted parade.
