Winter Nature Camp

Title: Winter Nature Camp
Location: Jefferson County
Description: Jefferson County Conservation is offering a Winter Nature Camp at Jefferson County Park on Tuesday, December 27th, and Wednesday, December 28th. Youth in pre-school and kindergarten will meet Tuesday from 9-11:30 am, with 3-6th graders meeting from 1-4 pm. Youth in 1st and 2nd grade are invited to attend Wednesday from 9-11:30 am. Youth will be spending time outside for camp and should come prepared for outdoor winter fun. Cost is $10 per child, and preregistration is required before Wednesday, December 21st. STEM Festival

Description: Kirkwood\’s Washington County Regional Center is hosting the Washington County STEM Festival on Wednesday (11/30) from 4-7 pm. The goal is to promote the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math, and is geared toward kindergartners through 8th graders and their families. The event is free and open to the public. Registrations are encouraged and can be made online at www.kirkwood.edu/stemfestival.

Description: The Winfield Community Development Group is hosting a Tour of Homes and Soup Supper on Saturday (12/3). The Tour of Homes will run from 4-7 pm, with tickets available at the library for $10. Santa will also be at the library starting at 3 pm. The Soup Supper runs from 5-8 pm at the Legion Building. There is no cost for the supper, but a free-will offering will be accepted with proceeds benefiting the community pool project.
