A 2014 Washington graduate recently completed his junior football season for William Penn University. Carl Sivels appeared in 10 games for the Statesmen this fall.

Sivels carried the ball 44 times for 248 yards and three touchdowns. His best game was against Mid-American Nazarene on September 3. Sivels ran the ball eight times for 110 yards and a touchdown in a 22-21 loss. He has accounted for 469 career rushing yards on 85 carries.

William Penn finished the season with a 7-4 overall record and was ranked as the 23rd best team in the final NAIA poll.
