Science, technology, engineering and math will be the focus of a festival in Washington later this month. The first time STEM Festival will at the Kirkwood Washington Regional Center. Tera Pickens, director of the Kirkwood Washington Regional Center, shares the goal of the event is to highlight the STEM career fields with fun, hands on activities. Area industry representatives and the school’s programs will be highlighted. With the festival, attendees will be able to visit the booths that most interest them.

The festival will be held November 30th. Students are encouraged to register ahead of time by contacting the regional center or at their website, and they’ll be entered for raffle prizes.
