Spooky music from the KCII Big Red Radio helped set the mood at trick-or-treat around the square in downtown Washington Halloween evening. Hundreds of children in costume and their parents walked around the square collecting goodies at the annual Washington Chamber of Commerce event. Businesses and agencies handed out treats, including the Washington County Ambulance. Also, Washington County Public Health’s I-Smile coordinator Sheila Temple gave toothbrushes to the little monsters, princesses and comic book heroes. There were also pony rides, hay rack rides and games at the YMCA.
