The Winfield-Mt. Union Wolves volleyball team was recently recognized by the Southeast Iowa Superconference for their play in 2016.

Four members of the team were awarded with spots on all-conference teams.

Junior Lexee Hartsock was named second team all-conference as a hitter. She finished the season with a team best 135 kills.

Senior Sophie Kongable was named second team all-conference libero. Kongable led the Super Conference and was 12th in the state with 390 digs.

Junior Pearl Krieger-Coble was an honorable mention all-conference selection. Krieger-Coble finished the year with 142 digs.

Senior Kara Wade was an honorable mention all-conference selection. Wade finished the year with 283 digs, ninth most in the SEISC.

The Wolves ended the season with an overall record of 14-18.
