The Highland Huskies boys basketball team held off Iowa Mennonite School Tuesday night to earn a 49-45 Southeast Iowa Superconference win.

IMS took an early lead, holding a 12-7 advantage after the first quarter. The second frame belonged to Highland as the Huskies went on a 19-6 run that lasted the entire quarter to take a 26-18 lead into the halftime break. In the second half, IMS cut the lead to 38-35 going to the fourth quarter but the Huskies did enough in the final frame to finish the win. Cole Yoder led IMS with 16 points, Mitchell Schmeider had 14. With the win Highland is now 3-0 on the year, IMS falls to 1-2.
