Iowa Mennonite School is gearing up for the holidays with a concert and prospective family Christmas party on Sunday. Their Christmas Music Concert will begin at 2:30 p.m. in Celebration Hall, and they hope their music will get people into the holiday spirit. The concert will feature vocal performances by the school’s chorale, concert choir, and chamber singers, as well as instrumental music from the symphonic band. The Christmas Music Concert is expected to run until 3:30 p.m., after which IMS is holding a prospective family Christmas party. Students in grades 6-8, potential transfer students, and their families are invited to the event to see what the school has to offer, and receive some holiday cheer. There will be Christmas cookies, crafts, and games hosted by a group of IMS students.
