On Saturday, The Iowa Mennonite School boys basketball team traveled to Sigourney for a nonconference tilt, posting a 59-28 win.

IMS wasted no time, rolling to a 22-8 lead after the first quarter. Iowa Mennonite continued to pull away, outscoring the Savages 18-6 in the second quarter to lead 40-14 at the half. IMS put the game out of reach early in the second half, enacting a continuous clock in the third quarter with a 15-4 run that lasted the entire frame. IMS was led by Cole Yoder 19 points, Cole Ours had 11 points and Mitchell Schmeider added 10. IMS is 5-3 on the year and has a three game winning streak entering the Christmas break. IMS will next be in action Tuesday, January 3rd when they travel to Pekin.
