The Mid-Prairie boys basketball team hosted Iowa City Regina Tuesday night at Tim Grady Gymnasium in Wellman.

The Regals took the conference contest 66-33. Leading 6-4 early, Regina finished the first quarter on a 15-3 run to open up a 14 point lead. The Regals led 35-14 at the half. The Regals kept their foot on the gas after halftime, outscoring Mid-Prairie 17-9 in third. They enacted a continuous clock with four  minutes remaining in the game.

Mid-Prairie committed 19 turnovers in the game. Derek Rich led the Golden Hawks with 10 points. Jocoa Kershen led Regina with 17. With the loss, Mid-Prairie is now 0-3 overall.
