Snow flurries swirled around Washington Thursday and more snow is expected over the weekend. According to AccuWeather, up to five inches of snow is in the forecast from Saturday morning through Sunday evening. Temperatures are expected to remain below freezing until Sunday when the high may reach 34 degrees. The National Weather Service states wind chills will approach the single digits overnight tonight and people in the extreme cold are susceptible to frostbite in just minutes.
