Snow and rain are in the forecast for Washington County this weekend. State Climatologist Harry Hillaker tells KCII News that the odds for a white Christmas historically is about 37% in Washington. To be a true white Christmas there has to be an inch or more of snow on the ground on December 25th.

Temperatures have warmed up over the week and the projected high temperature for Washington Sunday is 52 degrees. According to the National Weather Service the average temperature for the first 22 days of December has been 19.1 degrees, below the normal 25.9 degrees. Listen to KCII for weather updates.
