The individuals are being charged with first-degree theft, a class C felony, and second-degree criminal mischief, a class D felony. Police have also charged 20-year-old Jasper Dominguez and 51-year-old Chet Williams of Wapello for their involvement in the incidents.

Williams is charged with maintaining a premise which is resorted to by using illegal drugs, and gatherings where controlled substances are unlawfully used, aggravated and serious misdemeanors, respectively. In order to combat further issues with theft and illegal parties, the Wapello Police Department has begun to crack down on curfew violations in the city. They warn the public, if minors are out past curfew, they and their parents will be cited. Citizens are reminded to make sure they lock their vehicles and take their keys with them.
