The Washington County Conservation Board will hold their monthly meeting this Thursday, with the recent Kewash Nature Trail grant as the hot topic. One of the items on the agenda is to approve a grant agreement with the Washington County Riverboat Foundation. At the fall grant presentation in November, the board was awarded $27,846 for the Kiwi Avenue enhancement project of the Kewash Nature Trail, and the board will hold a discussion on accepting the grant. Other items on the agenda include project updates regarding the Marr Park storage building, and Foster Woods County Park. The meeting will be held Thursday starting at 4:30 p.m. at the Conservation Education Center at Marr Park, and is open to the public.
